  • Organic SEO Services in Malaysia: What You Are Actually Buying

Short answer: Organic means the free listings Google ranks on relevance, not a placement anyone can buy. Google states that inclusion and ranking “don’t cost money”. Organic SEO services in Malaysia run RM1,000 to RM2,500 a month at basic scope and RM3,000 to RM8,000 at full scope. Expect 12 to 18 months before organic beats paid on cost per lead, and only if traffic keeps growing.

Sit through three agency pitches in KL and you will hear organic used three ways. One means blog posts. One means Google Maps. One means anything that is not an ad invoice.

The word has an exact meaning, published by Google. What sits on top is positioning.

This article settles what a retainer can and cannot move on a results page, whether the compounding argument survives reality, and when organic beats paid on cost per lead.

What organic means on a Google results page

Google Ads help defines it in one line. An organic search result is “a free listing in Google Search that appears because it’s relevant to someone’s search terms.” Free describes the click, not the work behind it.

The rest of the definition is where Malaysian buyers get misled. Google’s FAQ on site position says: “Inclusion and ranking in Google Search results don’t cost money; we don’t accept payment to expedite inclusion or improve a site’s ranking for particular keywords.” It adds that “participation in an advertising program doesn’t positively or negatively affect inclusion or ranking in the Google search results.”

Two things follow. Nobody can sell you an organic position, so a guarantee of position one covers something the seller does not control. And ad spend buys nothing on the organic side, so the two budgets get justified separately.

What an agency sells under the word organic is labour: pages written, faults fixed, links earned, a profile maintained. If the mechanics are new, start with what SEO is and how ranking works.

The four blocks fighting for the same screen

A Malaysian results page is not one list. It is four zones stacked, and a retainer has different influence over each.

Block What decides position Can a retainer move it First movement
Paid search ads Auction: bid and ad quality No. That is a media buy, not SEO Same day
AI answer panel Google, drawing on pages it already ranks Indirectly, by ranking and answering clearly Follows organic
Map pack Relevance, distance, prominence Partly. Distance is fixed forever 4 to 8 weeks
Organic blue links Google ranking systems Yes. The retainer’s core job 6 to 12 months

The map pack is the cheapest early win for most Malaysian service businesses and moves in weeks not quarters, as our local SEO guide sets out. Distance is the one input nobody can buy, so a Klang workshop will not outrank a Cheras workshop for someone in Cheras.

Ask any agency selling “organic” which of these four blocks the retainer targets. An answer covering all four without distinction means the proposal was never thought through.

The compounding asset argument, stated properly

The strongest case for organic is that the work is not consumed. A month of ad spend is gone when the month ends. A page published in February still ranks in November, still collects links from newer pages, still takes a share of a search that happens whether you funded anything or not.

Three things accumulate at once. Pages build topical coverage, so each new one makes the next easier to rank. Links build authority that transfers sitewide. Google’s confidence in a site grows slowly with maintained content.

Here is the honest correction to the sales version. Compounding is a property of good work, not the channel. Twenty thin blog posts and a bundle of directory links compound into nothing, and you paid the same retainer as the business whose work did.

What has to be true for compounding

    • People already search for what you sell, in volume that matters.
    • The work is competent, not a content quota with no target.
    • You fund it long enough for the accumulation to start.
    • Nothing structural breaks: site speed, indexing, a bad migration.

Two things that stop organic from compounding

The first is obvious once stated and still surprises owners. Compounding stops when you stop. Cancel the retainer and rankings hold a while, because the pages and links are still live, then slide as competitors publish and content ages. You get a warning period that paid never gives, but the floor is not permanent.

The second is a core update. Google’s core update guidance is blunt about what a drop means, using a restaurant analogy: “restaurants that move down aren’t necessarily ‘bad’; there are just other restaurants that make your top 20.” You can lose position without doing anything wrong.

Recovery is not on your schedule either. Google says that if you have made improvements and “it’s been a few months and you still haven’t seen any effect, that could mean waiting until the next core update.”

This is the real asymmetry, and not the one usually sold. Paid is volatile within a day and fully under your control. Organic is stable for months and periodically outside it entirely.

When organic overtakes paid on cost per lead

This is the number the compounding argument is about, and it almost never appears on a whiteboard during a pitch. Assume RM2,000 a month of ad spend at RM40 a lead, so 50 a month, flat forever. Against it, a retainer at RM2,500 with lead volume on a normal ranking curve.

Month Organic leads Organic cost per lead Paid cost per lead
    3 2 RM1,250 RM40
    6 8 RM313 RM40
    9 18 RM139 RM40
    12 35 RM71 RM40
    18 70 RM36 RM40
    24 100 RM25 RM40

Crossover lands between month 12 and month 18 on these inputs. Four conditions have to hold: traffic keeps growing rather than plateauing at month nine, keywords carry buying intent, conversion rate holds, and the retainer stays flat. Break one and the curve flattens before it crosses. Our SEO pricing breakdown shows where the RM1,000 to RM2,500 and RM3,000 to RM8,000 tiers come from.

Month 18 is not when organic has paid for itself. It is when the next lead is cheaper. Everything before it is still in the hole. By month 18 paid has spent RM36,000 for roughly 900 leads at RM40 each, organic RM45,000 for near 450, averaging closer to RM100.

    12-18 months
until the next organic lead is cheaper
    30-36 months
    until total spend breaks even
    RM0
what Google charges for an organic rank

Cumulative break-even lands around month 30 to 36, and only if the retainer runs uninterrupted. Hold that number when someone calls organic the cheaper channel. It is cheaper on a three-year view and dearer on a one-year view, and which one you can judge on is a cash flow question.

Where organic will never carry the load

There are business types where a good organic retainer will still not become the main source of leads. Recognising yours early saves twelve months.

    • No search demand yet. If people do not know your category exists, optimisation cannot create the searches. New categories get built in feeds, not search boxes.
    • Impulse and discovery products. Fashion, snacks, novelty items, most low-ticket ecommerce. Nobody searches for a product they never thought about.
    • Time-boxed demand. A Raya bazaar, a six-week intake, a one-day event. The ranking arrives after the season ends.
    • Thin local volume. A specialist in a small town may see twenty relevant searches a month. Ranking first for twenty searches is not a lead engine.
    • Aggregator-owned terms. In property, travel and insurance, page one is held by portals with a decade of authority. Ranking fifth there wastes RM3,000 a month.

The pattern is clear enough: organic suits steady, expressed, repeatable demand. Everything else needs paid to create the demand first, the argument set out in full in SEO versus paid ads. Even in these categories the cheap groundwork is worth doing once. What is not worth it is a full retainer aimed at searches nobody makes.

How the budget should shift across twelve months

Running both is normal above roughly RM3,000 a month, and the mistake is treating the split as a decision fixed in month one. Below is the shape we plan to when a business starts organic while paid carries the leads. It is a target, not a measurement.

    Q1: organic share of leads5%
    Q2: organic share of leads15%
    Q3: organic share of leads30%
    Q4: organic share of leads45%
    1. Move budget on evidence, not calendar. Shift ad spend only after organic leads land in the same month.
    2. Shift in small steps. Ten to fifteen per cent at a time, watching total leads rather than the organic line alone.
    3. Keep paid on your money terms. Even at organic position one, competitors bid on your best searches and the ad slot sits above you.
    4. Hold a reserve for a bad update. If a core update takes a chunk of traffic, you want ad budget free to cover the quarter.

Most owners get step one wrong. Traffic rises, the ad budget gets cut, total leads fall because the new traffic came from information searches. Measure leads, not visits.

What an organic retainer should deliver every month

This is where most Malaysian retainers quietly fail. Work happens, a report arrives, and nothing in it lets you judge the money.

Line item What you should receive What a weak report gives instead
Technical Named faults fixed, with before and after “Site health improved”
Content Pages published, each with its target search A count of blog posts
Links Each new link named, with the page it points to “Off-page activity ongoing”
Rankings Movement on an agreed keyword list A tool screenshot of best performers
Search Console Impressions and clicks, quarter on quarter Sessions from Analytics only
Leads Enquiries attributed to organic “Traffic up 12 per cent”

Insist on the last row. Traffic is an input, leads the output, and a retainer reporting only input runs a full year before anyone notices. If content is billed separately, RM150 to RM500 per article is the normal Malaysian range, and the split between on-site and off-site work is explained in on-page versus off-page SEO. Agree the target keyword list in writing before month one, or month six reports whichever keywords happened to rise.

    The recommendation by business stage

Taking a position, by the stage you are at, not the one you pitch investors. Each assumes the destination is ready: a page that converts, and someone answering enquiries the same day.

Brand new, no revenue yet. Paid first, and it is not close. You need to know whether anyone wants what you sell before funding a twelve month ranking project. Do the cheap permanent groundwork only: site speed, title tags, a filled Google Business Profile.

Established demand, under RM3,000 a month total. Pick one. Splitting a small budget across a full campaign and a full retainer underfunds both. If people already search for your service, basic organic at RM1,000 to RM2,500 is defensible. Otherwise stay on paid.

Profitable on ads, cost per click rising. Organic is overdue. You have cash flow for the slow part and your ad reports already name the terms worth ranking for, which makes the targeting far more accurate than a keyword tool alone.

Frequently asked questions about organic SEO services

What does organic actually mean in SEO?

It means a free listing Google shows because it judged your page relevant, not because anyone paid for the slot. Google defines an organic result as a free listing appearing because it is relevant to someone’s search terms. Free describes the click, not the work behind it, which you pay for.

Can I pay Google to rank higher organically?

No. Google states that inclusion and ranking in Search do not cost money and that it does not accept payment to improve a site’s ranking for particular keywords. It also says an advertising program does not affect organic ranking either way, so a guaranteed position one means little.

How much do organic SEO services cost in Malaysia?

Basic scope for a single-location business runs RM1,000 to RM2,500 a month. Full scope with content and link building runs RM3,000 to RM8,000. Articles bought separately sit between RM150 and RM500. The gap between tiers is scope.

When does organic become cheaper than paid ads per lead?

On typical inputs the next organic lead becomes cheaper between month 12 and month 18. Total spend breaks even nearer month 30 to 36. Both assume traffic keeps growing, keywords carry buying intent, and the retainer runs without a break.

What happens to my rankings if I stop the retainer?

Nothing immediately. Pages and links stay live, so rankings usually hold a few months. Then competitors publish, content ages, positions slide. You get a warning period that paid never gives, but the traffic is not permanent.

Can a Google update wipe out organic work I paid for?

It can take a real share of it. Google says a site moving down after a core update is not necessarily bad, only that other pages now make its top results. Recovery may mean waiting for the next core update, so plan for a weak quarter.

Is organic SEO worth it for a brand new business?

Usually not as the lead channel. A new business needs enquiries this quarter and proof the offer sells, which paid delivers in weeks. Do the cheap groundwork now, meaning site speed, title tags and a complete Google Business Profile, then start the retainer when revenue is steady.

How do I tell whether my organic retainer is working?

Ask for enquiries attributed to organic, not traffic. By month four you should see pages indexed, Search Console impressions rising and rankings entering the top three pages. If none moved, ask hard questions before month twelve.

Conclusion: what organic SEO services are worth buying

Organic is a free listing you cannot buy, produced by work you have to pay for. At RM1,000 to RM2,500 a month for basic scope and RM3,000 to RM8,000 for full, it becomes the cheaper lead source between month 12 and month 18 and repays everything spent nearer month 30 to 36. It compounds only while funded and only while Google agrees, and for a brand new business paid comes first.

Perkataan “organik” dah jadi bahan jualan.

Hasil carian organik ialah “a free listing in Google Search that appears because it’s relevant to someone’s search terms.”

Bahagian yang ramai owner tak tahu ada dalam FAQ rasmi Google: “Inclusion and ranking in Google Search results don’t cost money; we don’t accept payment to expedite inclusion or improve a site’s ranking for particular keywords.” Google tambah lagi yang “participation in an advertising program doesn’t positively or negatively affect inclusion or ranking in the Google search results.”

Gerakan pertama
Iklan carian berbayar Lelongan: bid dan kualiti iklan Tak. Itu media buy Hari sama
Panel jawapan AI Google, ambil dari page yang dah rank Tak langsung, ikut ranking Ikut organik
Map pack Relevan, jarak, prominence Separa. Jarak kekal 4 hingga 8 minggu
Blue link organik Sistem ranking Google Ya. Kerja utama retainer 6 hingga 12 bulan

Panel jawapan AI ubah kiraan sedikit.

Kalau jawapan dia liputi empat-empat tanpa beza, proposal tu memang tak pernah difikirkan betul-betul.

Kategori business yang organik takkan mampu pikul

Ada jenis business yang walaupun retainernya bagus, organik tetap takkan jadi sumber lead utama. Kenal awal, kau jimat dua belas bulan.

      • Tiada permintaan carian lagi. Kalau orang tak tahu kategori kau wujud, optimisation tak boleh cipta carian. Kategori baru dibina dalam feed, bukan dalam kotak carian.
      • Produk impulse. Fesyen, snek, barang novelty dan kebanyakan ecommerce harga rendah. Tiada siapa cari benda yang dia tak terfikir pun.
      • Permintaan bermusim pendek. Bazar Raya, intake kursus enam minggu, event sehari. Ranking sampai lepas musim habis.
      • Volume tempatan terlalu nipis.
      • Keyword dikuasai portal.

Tiga benda terkumpul serentak. Page bina liputan topik, jadi setiap page baru buat yang seterusnya lebih senang rank. Link bina authority merentas seluruh site. Keyakinan Google pada satu site naik perlahan bila content dijaga.

Ini pembetulan jujur pada versi jualan. Compounding sifat kerja yang bagus, bukan sifat channel. Dua puluh blog post nipis dan sebakul link direktori tak kompaun jadi apa-apa, dan kau bayar retainer sama macam business yang kerjanya berjaya.

      Syarat sebelum compounding jalan

      • Kerja tu kompeten, bukan kuota content tanpa sasaran.
      • Kau bayar cukup lama sampai pengumpulan mula jalan.

      Book free consultation

Panduan core update Google guna analogi restoran: “restaurants that move down aren’t necessarily ‘bad’; there are just other restaurants that make your top 20.” Maksudnya kau boleh hilang kedudukan tanpa buat satu pun kesalahan.

Pemulihan pun bukan ikut jadual kau. Google kata kalau dah buat penambahbaikan dan “it’s been a few months and you still haven’t seen any effect, that could mean waiting until the next core update.”

Kesan praktikalnya senang.

Bulan Lead organik CPL organik CPL paid
      3 2 RM1,250 RM40
      6 8 RM313 RM40
      9 18 RM139 RM40
      12 35 RM71 RM40
      18 70 RM36 RM40
      24 100 RM25 RM40

Pecah satu, lengkung tu rata sebelum sempat memintas.

Bulan 18 bukan bulan organik dah balik modal.

      12-18 bulan
sebelum lead organik jadi lebih murah
      30-36 bulan
      sebelum jumlah belanja balik modal
      RM0

      S1: bahagian lead organik5%
      S2: bahagian lead organik15%
      S3: bahagian lead organik30%
      S4: bahagian lead organik45%
      1. Alih bajet ikut bukti, bukan ikut kalendar. Pindah ad spend hanya lepas lead organik betul-betul masuk bulan yang sama.
      2. Alih sikit-sikit. Sepuluh hingga lima belas peratus satu kali, dan tengok jumlah lead keseluruhan bukan baris organik sahaja.
      3. Kekalkan paid atas keyword duit. Walaupun kau nombor satu organik, pesaing tetap bidding atas carian paling bernilai dan slot iklan duduk atas kau.
      4. Simpan rizab untuk update teruk. Kalau core update rampas sebahagian traffic, kau nak bajet iklan tu ada untuk tampung suku tahun tu.

Silap paling biasa berlaku pada langkah pertama. Owner nampak traffic naik, terus potong bajet iklan, lepas tu jumlah lead turun sebab traffic tu datang dari keyword maklumat. Ukur lead, bukan lawatan.

Minta senarai keyword bertulis sebelum bulan pertama bermula.

      Cadangan ikut peringkat business

Ini pendirian kami, ikut peringkat kau.

Baru buka, belum ada revenue. Paid dulu, dan tak perlu berdebat. Kau kena tahu ada orang nak benda yang kau jual sebelum biayai projek ranking dua belas bulan. Buat asas organik yang murah dan kekal sahaja: speed website, title tag, Google Business Profile penuh.

Permintaan dah ada, bajet bawah RM3,000 sebulan. Pilih satu.

Iklan dah untung, cost per click makin naik. Organik dah lewat.

Business servis satu lokasi. Map pack dulu, page organik kemudian.

Ecommerce katalog luas. Organik atas page kategori, paid atas produk paling laku. Page kategori kumpul carian jangka panjang, produk laku perlukan volume sekarang.

Soalan lazim pasal servis SEO organik

Jumlah belanja pula baru balik modal sekitar bulan 30 hingga 36. Dua-dua andaikan traffic terus naik, keyword bawa niat membeli, dan retainer jalan tanpa putus.

Apa jadi pada ranking kalau saya berhenti retainer?

Tiada apa-apa serta merta. Page dan link masih hidup, jadi ranking biasanya bertahan beberapa bulan. Lepas tu pesaing terbit content baru, content kau makin tua, kedudukan luncur turun.

Macam mana nak tahu retainer organik saya berfungsi?

Kalau tiada satu pun bergerak, tanya soalan keras sebelum bulan dua belas, bukan selepas.

English version here: organic SEO services in Malaysia.

      • Sebut Harga SEO Malaysia: Cara Baca Sebelum Sign

Masalahnya bukan angka tu.

Artikel ni buka satu sebut harga SEO baris demi baris.

        5. Harga paling akhir. Sekarang barulah angka tu ada makna, sebab kau dah tahu apa sebenarnya yang kau beli.

Ujian paling murah pula percuma.

        • Technical. Bukan “technical SEO”, tapi audit penuh dalam 14 hari pertama, diikuti pembetulan sehingga 12 isu keutamaan tinggi sebulan, dilaksanakan oleh developer agency dalam WordPress kau.
        • Content. Bukan “content optimization”, tapi empat artikel sebulan, 1,200 hingga 1,500 patah perkataan, dan hak cipta berpindah kepada kau selepas bayaran.
        • Link.
        • Local. Bukan “GBP optimization”, tapi kemas kini Google Business Profile mingguan, empat post sebulan, dan balasan setiap review dalam 48 jam.
        • Pelaporan.

Panduan rasmi Google untuk mengupah SEO tulis terus terang: “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.”

Bayar ikut ranking sahaja. Bunyinya adil sampai kau fikir insentifnya. Model ni menolak agency ke arah keyword paling senang dan jalan pintas paling cepat.

        Ringkasan

        RM1,000-RM8,000
        julat retainer SEO sebulan
        RM800-RM2,500
        audit sekali kalau dicaj asing
        8%
        SST atas fee servis

Kalau dua quote beza tiga kali ganda, biasanya bukan sebab satu pihak tamak.

Auto-renew Diperbaharui automatik melainkan notis bertulis 60 hari sebelum tamat Klausa paling kerap menyakitkan. Terlepas tarikh, kau terikat satu tempoh penuh lagi

Tempoh kontrak bukan sekadar tarikh.

“Assignment of copyright upon full payment” bermakna content jadi hak kau. “Licence to use during the term of this agreement” bermakna kau menyewa artikel yang kau bayar untuk tulis, dan agency boleh minta ia dibuang bila kau keluar.

Klausa tu patut dikeluarkan sebelum kau tandatangan, bukan dirundingkan selepas kau nak keluar.

        1. Apa kerja minggu pertama sampai keempat. Pelan sebenar ada urutan. Pelan palsu bercakap pasal optimisation secara umum.
        2. Siapa yang buat kerja saya. Nama, peranan, dan berapa client lain dia pegang serentak.
        3. Apa yang berhenti berfungsi kalau saya berhenti bayar. Jawapan jujur menyenaraikan beberapa perkara.
        4. Apa yang tidak termasuk dalam harga ni. Kalau jawapannya semuanya termasuk, dia sendiri belum baca quote tu.
        5. Boleh saya keluar selepas tiga bulan kalau deliverable tak sampai. Jawapan pada soalan ni paling banyak beritahu.

        Checklist sebelum tandatangan

        • Tempoh minimum 3 hingga 6 bulan, notice 30 hari, tiada auto-renew buta.

Siapa miliki content selepas kontrak SEO tamat?

Bergantung pada satu ayat dalam kontrak. Kalau ditulis pemindahan hak cipta selepas bayaran penuh, content jadi milik kau. Minta ayat pemindahan sebelum sign.

Apa jadi pada ranking kalau saya berhenti bayar SEO?

Ia susut perlahan, bukan jatuh serta-merta.

Kena bayar SST atas fee SEO agency?

• SEO Quotation Malaysia: What to Check Before You Sign

Short answer: A quotation you can act on lists countable deliverables, names who does the work, and states what is excluded. Malaysian SEO retainers run RM1,000 to RM8,000 a month depending on scope. Reject any quote that guarantees a number one position, because Google itself states that nobody can promise one. Read the exit terms and the account ownership clause before you look at the price.

A dental clinic in Petaling Jaya sent us two quotations for the same website. One was RM950 a month, the other RM4,800. Both ran to seven pages and used almost the same words.

The gap was not greed. The expensive one listed four articles a month, named the developer doing the technical work, and had a page of exclusions. The cheap one promised thirty backlinks and named nobody.

This article opens a quotation line by line. Which phrases are filler, what an enforceable scope looks like, which clause does the real damage, and who keeps the content and accounts at the end.

What sits inside a quotation, and the order to read it in

Most SEO quotations in Malaysia use the same six blocks: an executive summary, a scope narrative, a deliverables list, a pricing table, terms and conditions, and case studies.

The printed order is designed for a front-to-back read ending in a signature. Read it in reverse.

          1. Terms and conditions first. Minimum term, notice period, renewal, and what happens to the work at the end. If this block is unreasonable, the price stops mattering.
          2. Then the exclusions. What is left out is usually more honest than what is included. A quote with no exclusions list means nobody thought that far.
          3. Then the deliverables. Count what can be counted. Four articles, twelve technical fixes, one report.
          4. Then the scope narrative. Match every sentence to a deliverable underneath. A scope sentence with nothing under it is decoration.
          5. Price last. Only now does the number mean anything, because you know what it buys.

Deliverable lines that sound impressive and mean nothing

A small set of phrases turns up in nearly every low-cost SEO quotation. All of them sound like effort. Most are not.

Line in the quote What it lets the agency do What to ask instead
30 backlinks per month Buy links in bulk from a vendor, since earned links never arrive on a schedule From what kind of sites, and can I see five recent placements
Unlimited keywords Track 500 terms nobody searches and report that all improved Which keywords are the priority targets, and what volume each has
Guaranteed page 1 Rank you for your own company name and call it fulfilled Page one for which keyword, within what period
Monthly SEO maintenance Send a tool-generated report and do nothing else List the first month of work, week by week

Every one shares a defect. Each can be declared complete without anyone proving it did anything. When deliverables are measured by activity rather than outcome, the laziest provider passes.

The backlink line is the expensive one. Links bought at a flat rate come from the same pool used for every client, and the risk lands on your domain. The difference between earned and purchased links sits in our off-page SEO guide.

What a defensible scope actually lists

A good scope reads as dull. It names objects, not adjectives.

Every enforceable deliverable carries four things: a quantity, a unit, the role doing it, and a date. Drop one and the line is no longer measurable.

          • Technical. Not “technical SEO”, but a full audit inside 14 days, then up to 12 high-priority fixes a month, implemented by the agency’s developer in your WordPress.
          • Content. Not “content optimisation”, but four new articles a month at 1,200 to 1,500 words, with copyright assigned to you on payment.
          • Links. Not “30 backlinks”, but two to four placements a month on relevant Malaysian sites, each listed with its full URL.
          • Reporting. Not “monthly reporting”, but a report on the 7th of each month plus a 30 minute call.

Ask for the exclusions in writing. The ones most often missing: developer work outside WordPress, translation between English and Malay, photography, paid media budget, and tool licences. Each becomes a separate invoice if not settled early.

The three promises nobody can keep

Some quotation lines are not optimistic. They describe outcomes no vendor controls.

A guaranteed ranking. Google’s own guidance on hiring an SEO puts it plainly: “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.” The same page warns you to be wary of anyone claiming guaranteed rankings or a special relationship with Google.

A delivery date for a ranking. Nobody controls when Google crawls, indexes or ships an update. An agency can commit to dates for its own work, not to Google’s decisions. Real momentum usually takes 3 to 6 months, and that is a forecast. If your business is local, the timing pattern sits in our local SEO guide.

Payment tied only to rankings. It sounds fair until you look at the incentive. The model pushes the agency toward the easiest keywords and the fastest shortcuts.

          The short version

          • Google states directly that no position can be guaranteed.
          • An agency can commit to work and to delivery dates, not to Google’s results.

The price line hides more than it shows

The headline figure at the bottom of a quotation is rarely what leaves your bank account.

          RM1,000-RM8,000
          monthly SEO retainer range
          RM800-RM2,500
          one-off audit if billed apart
          8%
          SST on the service fee

The items that usually sit outside the headline: a first-month setup fee, SST, per-article content charges, tool licences passed to you, developer hours to implement the fixes, and an annual uplift in small type.

Service tax on advertising and digital services in Malaysia is 8% per the PwC Malaysia service tax summary, so ask whether the quoted figure is before or after tax.

When two quotes differ by three times, the cause is rarely margin. One has priced in content and developer time, the other has pushed both outside scope. The full range by scope sits in our guide to SEO pricing in Malaysia.

Contract length, notice periods, and the clause that traps you

SEO takes time, so a minimum term is fair. What is not fair is drafting that stops you leaving even when the work has clearly failed.

Clause How it is usually written What it does to you
Minimum term This agreement runs for an initial period of 12 months Fair at 3 to 6 months. At 12 you fund half a year of work you know has failed
Auto-renewal Renews automatically unless written notice is given 60 days before expiry The clause that hurts most often. Miss the date and you are locked in another full term
Notice period Termination requires 90 days written notice Three more months of fees for work you have decided to stop
Grounds for exit The client may terminate only for material breach Weak performance is not a breach, so you have no way out
Discount clawback Discounts granted are repayable on early termination A surprise invoice on the day you leave, often larger than a month of fees

A term is not just a date. It is a cash commitment, and multiplying it out makes that obvious.

          6 month term at RM2,500RM15,000
          12 month term at RM2,500RM30,000
          24 month term at RM2,500RM60,000

Ask for three amendments: month-to-month after the minimum term, notice cut to 30 days, and a right to terminate if the written deliverables fail to arrive two months running.

Who owns the content and the accounts when it ends

This is the section least often read and the most expensive to get wrong. In many SEO agreements, what you buy is a licence to use, not ownership.

Look for the wording that separates the two. Assignment of copyright on full payment means the articles become yours. A licence to use during the term means you rent writing you paid for.

Accounts should stand in your company’s name from day one, not be transferred later. The minimum list: domain and registrar, hosting, WordPress admin, Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile, and Tag Manager. The agency joins as a user while you stay owner.

One more line worth demanding is a handover clause. At the end of the term you should receive the full list of links built, the log of technical fixes, every content file, and any tool licence you paid for. If it is not in the quotation it will not exist later. For the terms themselves, start with our beginner guide to SEO.

What happens to the work if you stop paying

Rankings do not vanish the day payments stop. What follows is a slow decay, and its speed depends on what was built and where it lives.

What stays with you: technical fixes inside your site, the page structure, and content on your domain with copyright already assigned. Those are assets, and they keep working.

What disappears: rented links that come down when payment stops, landing pages hosted on agency servers, a blog on an agency subdomain, schema or review widgets injected through their script, and dashboards inside their tool accounts.

So put one question to every agency before signing. What in this plan stops working if I stop paying next month. An answer of “nothing” usually means they have not thought about it, or would rather you did not.

Read the content removal clause as well. Some agreements let the agency strip articles from your site after termination on intellectual property grounds. Take that clause out before you sign, not after you decide to leave.

Reporting cadence, written into the quotation

Reporting frequency belongs in the quotation as a date, not the word “regular”. What works for most Malaysian SMEs is a written report on a fixed day each month, a short monthly call, and a quarterly strategy review.

Weekly reports sound diligent but rarely help in SEO, because a week of data is too noisy to decide from. Worse is a report generated by a tool with no human interpretation attached.

A useful report answers three questions: what was done this month, what changed in traffic and enquiries, and what happens next. If all three are missing, the report is decoration.

Add one more line: direct access to Search Console and Analytics for your side, not just a monthly PDF. Once you can open the data yourself, the agency report becomes interpretation rather than the only source of truth. The scope we deliver is listed on our SEO services page.

Questions to ask, and a checklist for any quotation

Five questions filter out most weak quotes in one phone call. Listen for whether the answers are specific.

          1. What happens in weeks one through four. A real plan has a sequence. A fake one talks about optimisation in general.
          2. Who does the work on my account. A name, a role, and how many other clients they carry.
          3. What stops working if I stop paying. An honest answer names several items.
          4. What is not included in this price. If the answer is everything, they have not read their own quotation.
          5. Can I leave after three months if deliverables do not arrive. This answer tells you the most.

          Checklist before you sign

          • Every deliverable has a quantity, a unit, an owner and a date.
          • A written exclusions list exists.
          • No ranking guarantee in any form of words.
          • The price states whether it is before or after 8% SST.
          • Minimum term of 3 to 6 months, 30 day notice, no blind auto-renewal.
          • Content copyright assigned to you on payment.
          • All accounts in your company name, agency added as a user.
          • A handover clause covering the link list and content files.
          • A fixed reporting date plus direct Search Console access.

Frequently asked questions about SEO quotations in Malaysia

What should an SEO quotation include?

Four things. Countable deliverables with a quantity and a unit, the role of whoever does the work, a list of what is excluded, and clear exit terms. Without all four you are buying a promise rather than work.

How long should an SEO contract run?

Three to six months as a minimum term, since SEO needs 3 to 6 months to build momentum. After that, ask for month to month. A locked 12 month term with 90 days notice means paying for close to a full year of failing work.

Can an agency guarantee a number one ranking on Google?

No. Google’s official guidance on hiring an SEO states that nobody can guarantee a number one ranking, and it warns about anyone claiming a special relationship with Google. Any guarantee you see is normally written with an escape hatch in the terms.

Who owns the content when an SEO contract ends?

It comes down to one sentence. Assignment of copyright on full payment means the articles are yours. A licence for the duration of the agreement means you were renting writing you paid for. Ask for assignment wording before signing.

What happens to my rankings if I stop paying for SEO?

They decay slowly rather than collapsing. Technical fixes and content on your own domain keep working. What goes quickly is rented links, landing pages on agency hosting, and anything injected through their scripts.

Is SST charged on SEO agency fees in Malaysia?

Advertising and digital services in Malaysia carry service tax at 8% where the provider is registered. Many agencies quote before tax, so a RM3,000 retainer costs more in practice. Ask early whether the quoted figure sits before or after SST.

Is a setup fee on an SEO quotation normal?

It is normal when it buys something real. A fair setup fee covers a technical audit, keyword research and tracking setup, and lands in the same range as a standalone audit at RM800 to RM2,500. A setup fee with no listed deliverables is a joining charge.

How do I compare two SEO quotes that differ by three times?

Put them side by side and list the countable units. How many articles, how many developer hours, how many link placements, and who implements the technical fixes. The cheaper quote has usually pushed content and developer time out of scope.

Conclusion: reading an SEO quotation before you commit

A good quotation counts things and admits what it does not cover. A weak one runs on adjectives, impossible guarantees and exit terms drafted to hold you in place. Read it backwards, count the deliverables, and confirm the content and accounts stay in your name.

Bajet masa 6 hingga 12 bulan sebelum keyword komersial duduk stabil. Result KL lambat sikit sebab puluhan pesaing terus duduk dalam radius lima kilometer yang sama.

Jadi kedai tempatan terpaksa lawan pemain nasional depan rumah sendiri.

Kedua, directory lagi tebal.

            Nama brand sendiri1 – 2 bulan
            Kawasan + servis (Setapak, Kepong)3 – 6 bulan
Seluruh KL, “servis kuala lumpur”6 – 12 bulan

Kotak peta tunjuk tiga business sahaja.

Keadaan Apa patut buat Silap biasa

Orang Klang Valley tukar bahasa ikut topik, bukan ikut identiti.

Keyword campur macam “servis aircond murah near me” pun banyak, dan Google faham dua-dua.

            2,400
carian sebulan, seo services kuala lumpur
            4,400
carian sebulan, seo company kuala lumpur
            6-12 bulan
            untuk pegang keyword seluruh KL

Langkah praktikal bukan translate website.

Permulaan RM1,000 hingga RM2,500 Satu website, satu lokasi, sasaran peringkat kawasan. Urus profile, dua hingga empat content, penyelenggaraan teknikal asas.
Audit one-off RM800 hingga RM2,500 Diagnosis sahaja. Berbaloi sebelum ikat retainer, sia-sia kalau tiada orang buat pembetulan.

Dua pelarasan khusus KL.

            4. Semak kontrak pasal pemilikan. Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile dan content kekal atas nama kau.
            5. Tolak jaminan ranking. Google sebut jelas kedudukan local tak boleh dibeli atau dipohon, jadi jaminan tu tunjuk apa agency sanggup cakap untuk tutup deal.
            6. Banding tiga quote ikut skop, bukan harga.

Tetapkan checkpoint sebelum sign.

Checkpoint Apa patut ada Berhenti kalau
Hari 30 Audit teknikal siap dan pembetulan bermula, keyword map ikut bahasa, baseline direkod Ada report tapi tiada apa berubah atas website
Hari 60 Page baru atau page tulis semula dah live, internal link siap, keyword kawasan mula gerak Masih tunggu approval content tanpa hantar draf

Atas RM8,000 masuk kategori enterprise. Audit one-off pula RM800 hingga RM2,500.

Keyword kawasan campur servis macam “servis aircond Setapak” biasanya bergerak dalam tiga hingga enam bulan.

Keyword long-tail Melayu di KL kurang sesak, jadi retainer kecil menang di situ dulu.

Uji mana-mana agency ikut checkpoint 90 hari.

            • SEO Services in Kuala Lumpur: What They Cost and How to Choose

Short answer: SEO services in Kuala Lumpur run about RM1,000 to RM2,500 a month for a single-location business and RM3,000 to RM8,000 once you are chasing city-wide terms or several outlets. Budget 6 to 12 months before commercial keywords hold position. KL results move slower than a smaller Malaysian town because dozens of direct competitors sit inside the same five kilometre radius.

A shop in Kuala Lumpur and a shop in Kuantan can sell the same thing, run the same website and hire the same agency, then get very different results in nine months. The work is not different. The auction is.

KL is where most Malaysian service businesses, most agencies and most national brands chase the same handful of terms. Semrush puts seo services kuala lumpur at 2,400 searches a month in Malaysia with a difficulty score of 26, and seo company kuala lumpur at 4,400 with a difficulty of 30.

What SEO work looks like for a Kuala Lumpur business

SEO for a KL business is four jobs running at once. The mix shifts by industry, but all four are always there.

Technical foundation. The site has to load fast on a phone on a patchy connection in a Bukit Bintang basement carpark and let Google crawl every page you care about. Most KL sites we audit have eight to twenty pages Google either cannot see or has decided not to index.

Service and area pages. A KL business does not rank on a homepage alone. A dental clinic in Bangsar competes for “dentist Bangsar”, “dental clinic Mid Valley” and “scaling polishing KL” with three pages, not one.

Google Business Profile work. For anything with a walk-in address this is where the money is. Categories, photos, services, reviews, weekly posts, holiday hours around Raya and CNY.

Content and authority. Pages answering what people type before they buy, plus links from sites that matter in Malaysia.

              The short version

              • KL SEO is four workstreams, not one deliverable: technical, pages, profile, authority.
              • Area pages only work when you genuinely serve the area and can prove it.
              • If people walk up to a counter, profile work matters most in the first 90 days.

Why Kuala Lumpur search results are harder than the rest of Malaysia

Three things stack up in a KL result page, and none apply as strongly in Ipoh.

First, national brands target KL by default. When a company decides to do SEO for Malaysia, the pages they build are almost always KL pages, because that is where the buying power sits. Local businesses end up competing with national players on their own doorstep.

Second, the directories are thicker. For a KL query you fight aggregator listings, marketplace pages, property portals and news sites before you reach actual businesses, which makes the top three organic positions worth far more than position six.

Third, agencies compete here themselves. Anything with “kuala lumpur” attached to a commercial service is being worked on by people who do this for a living, which is why the difficulty on seo company kuala lumpur sits at 30 while a comparable town query often sits in the low teens.

KL SEO does not fail. The same effort simply buys less movement per month, so plans built on small-town timelines fall behind. Our guide to SEO pricing in Malaysia sets the national ranges, and KL work sits at the upper half of every one.

What KL competition does to your timeline and your budget

Competition does not change the method. It changes how long the method takes to show up in revenue, and that is the number owners get wrong.

Here is how long different keyword types take in KL, assuming consistent monthly work. These are reasoned ranges from work on Malaysian sites, not published benchmarks.

              Your own brand name1 – 2 months
Suburb plus service (Cheras, Setapak)3 – 6 months
              City-wide “service kuala lumpur”6 – 12 months
              National “service malaysia”12 months plus

Budget follows the same logic. A clinic in Wangsa Maju chasing three suburb terms can work at RM1,000 to RM2,500 a month. A property agency chasing “property agent kuala lumpur” against national portals cannot, because the content and links needed sit in the RM3,000 to RM8,000 band.

The mistake is paying the low number and expecting the high outcome. If your budget only supports the entry tier, pick a target the entry tier can win: suburbs first, city-wide later. A clinic that owns “dentist Wangsa Maju” and three neighbouring areas usually books more chairs than one sitting at position fourteen for a city-wide term.

Winning the local pack when forty competitors sit within five kilometres

The map box shows three businesses. In a KL commercial area forty of you may sit inside a five kilometre circle, so thirty seven see nothing on a given search.

Google names three factors in its local ranking documentation: relevance, distance and prominence. In a dense city distance stops separating anyone, because everyone is close. Relevance and prominence decide it.

              1. Fix the primary category first. One wrong category costs more visibility than a year of posts will fix. Pick what the business is, not what it also does.
              2. Treat reviews as a rate. Sixty reviews collected three years ago lose to twenty collected this quarter.
              3. Fill the services list. Every service, written the way customers say it, including the Malay phrasing.
              4. Photograph the actual place. Shopfront, lobby, parking access, staff. In KL, parking photos earn more clicks than product shots.
              5. Post weekly. Promotions, jobs completed, new stock. Ten minutes.

Proximity still sets a ceiling. A Kepong workshop will not out-rank a Bangsar workshop for a searcher standing in Bangsar. You win your own catchment plus the searches neighbours ignored. Our guide to local SEO covers the profile mechanics.

Running SEO across multiple outlets and branches

Multi-outlet businesses are common in KL: three cafes, two clinics, a head office in KL Sentral with a branch in Puchong. The structure decides whether the outlets help each other or split the same traffic between them, and most owners get it wrong in the same two ways.

Setup What to do Common mistake
Two to five outlets, same brand One Business Profile and one location page per outlet, each linked to the other One profile for all branches, so only head office ranks
Head office plus service crews Profile at the office address, service areas set for districts you cover Fake virtual office addresses, which get listings suspended
Franchise or dealer network Central template, local control of hours, photos and reviews Pages identical except the town name

The rule for location pages is simple. If the page cannot say something true and specific about that branch, its parking, its staff, the jobs it has done nearby, it should not exist. Reviews also stay per outlet: a branch with four reviews and one with ninety will not perform the same, however strong the brand is.

Bilingual search behaviour in the Klang Valley

Klang Valley searchers switch languages by topic, not by identity. The same person types “best coffee KL” in the morning and “bengkel kereta berdekatan” in the afternoon.

The pattern repeats: English dominates professional services, technology, property and corporate queries. Malay dominates trades, home services, food, government-adjacent processes and health questions. Mixed queries are everywhere, and Google handles them fine.

              2,400
monthly searches, seo services kuala lumpur
              4,400
monthly searches, seo company kuala lumpur
              6-12 months
              to hold city-wide KL terms

The practical move is not to translate your site. Translated pages read like translated pages and rarely rank. Build Malay pages for the queries that are genuinely Malay, with their own examples, and leave the English pages in English.

There is a budget argument too. Malay long-tail terms in KL are usually less contested than their English equivalents, so a business on a small retainer often gets its first wins there. If an agency only shows you English keyword lists for a Klang Valley audience, they have skipped half the market. Ask to see both lists, with volumes, before you agree the content plan.

What a Kuala Lumpur SEO retainer buys at each tier

The tiers below match the national ranges we publish. All figures are monthly retainers, excluding ad spend.

Tier Monthly What it realistically covers in KL
Entry RM1,000 to RM2,500 One site, one location, suburb targets. Profile management, two to four content pieces, basic technical upkeep. Not enough for city-wide commercial terms.
Full scope RM3,000 to RM8,000 City-wide targets, multiple outlets or ecommerce. Six to twelve content pieces, link and PR work, conversion fixes, strategy time.
Enterprise RM8,000 and above Multi-brand, multi-market, or tens of thousands of pages. Dedicated team, developer time.
One-off audit RM800 to RM2,500 Diagnosis only. Sensible before a retainer, useless if nobody executes the fixes.

Two KL adjustments matter. Klang Valley salaries are the highest in the country, so the same scope quotes above an East Coast or Sabah agency. And because KL targets are harder, the same retainer buys fewer positions here.

Anything at RM500 a month is not SEO. Nobody can afford the hours at that price, so you get an automated report and a few directory submissions. If cost is the constraint, buy fewer months of real work instead of twelve months of nothing. The in-house versus agency comparison is the better conversation at that budget.

How to shortlist a Kuala Lumpur SEO agency

Being in KL is not a qualification. Half the agencies bidding sit in Selangor or work remotely from Penang, and that is fine. What matters is whether they have moved a site like yours in a market this contested.

              1. Ask for two KL clients in a competitive category. Not a testimonial. A domain, a keyword and a date you can check.
              2. Search the keywords they claim. From a KL location on your phone, not your office desktop with a logged-in account.
              3. Ask who does the work. The person pitching and the person writing your pages are often different. Meet the second one.
              4. Check the contract for ownership. Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile and content stay in your name.
              5. Reject guaranteed rankings. Google states plainly that local ranking cannot be bought or requested, so a guarantee tells you what the agency is willing to say to close a deal.
              6. Compare three quotes on scope, not price. Line up the deliverables and the cheap quote is usually missing half of them.

Our SEO services page lists what we include at each tier, which gives you a template to hold other proposals against.

How to test an agency in 90 days

Ninety days is long enough to see whether the work is real, and short enough that a mistake costs one quarter, not one year. Set the checkpoints before you sign.

Checkpoint What should exist Walk away if
Day 30 Technical audit delivered and fixes started, keyword map by language, baseline recorded You have a report but nothing on the site changed
Day 60 New or rewritten pages live, internal linking done, first movement on suburb terms, review flow running Still waiting for content approval with no drafts sent
Day 90 Measurable lift in Search Console impressions and clicks, enquiries traceable to organic, a plan for the next quarter Reporting is traffic-only, with no leads or calls

Ninety days will not deliver a city-wide ranking, and an agency promising that is setting you up to be disappointed. It delivers evidence: pages shipped, technical issues closed, first suburb terms moving.

Record the baseline yourself on day one. Screenshot Search Console impressions, your top ten keyword positions and your review count. Nobody disputes a baseline captured before they started.

Frequently asked questions about SEO services in Kuala Lumpur

How much do SEO services in Kuala Lumpur cost per month?

Most KL businesses pay RM1,000 to RM2,500 a month for a single location with suburb targets, and RM3,000 to RM8,000 once they compete city-wide or run multiple outlets. Above RM8,000 is enterprise territory. A one-off audit runs RM800 to RM2,500.

How long before SEO works for a KL business?

Brand terms settle in one to two months. Suburb plus service terms such as “aircond service Cheras” typically move in three to six months. City-wide terms with “kuala lumpur” attached take six to twelve months of consistent work. KL sits at the slower end.

Is SEO in Kuala Lumpur harder than in other Malaysian cities?

Yes. National brands target KL by default, directories occupy more of the first page, and agencies compete for the same terms. Semrush rates seo company kuala lumpur at difficulty 30, while the same query for a smaller town often sits in the low teens.

Should I hire a KL-based agency or does location not matter?

Location matters far less than category experience. A team in Penang that has ranked three KL clinics beats a KL office that has never worked in your industry. A local team does give you easier meetings and Klang Valley familiarity.

How do I handle SEO for several branches in Klang Valley?

One Google Business Profile per outlet, and one genuine location page per outlet, each linking to the other. Keep reviews at branch level rather than funnelling them to head office. Avoid location pages identical except for the town name.

Do I need Malay and English pages for a Klang Valley audience?

Usually yes, but written natively rather than translated. English dominates professional services, property and corporate queries. Malay dominates trades, home services, food and health questions. Malay long-tail terms in KL are less contested, so a smaller retainer wins there first.

Can an agency guarantee I will rank in the KL map pack?

No. Google states in its local ranking documentation that there is no way to request or pay for better local ranking. The map box shows three businesses, and in a dense KL area dozens of competitors sit within five kilometres.

What should I see after 90 days with a KL SEO agency?

By day 30, a technical audit with fixes started and a keyword map. By day 60, new pages live and long-tail terms moving. By day 90, a measurable lift in Search Console impressions and clicks, plus a plan for the next quarter.

Conclusion: what to budget for SEO in Kuala Lumpur

SEO in Kuala Lumpur is the same discipline as anywhere else in Malaysia, priced and paced for a harder market. Start at RM1,000 to RM2,500 a month for one location and suburb targets, move to RM3,000 to RM8,000 for city-wide terms or multiple outlets, and expect six to twelve months for anything with “kuala lumpur” in it. Test any agency across 90 days.

              • Analisis SEO Percuma: Macam Mana Nak Tahu Audit Tu Betul

Jawapan ringkas: Analisis SEO percuma hanya berguna kalau ada manusia yang tengok website kau, bukan setakat crawler. Audit yang betul cover lapan benda: indexation, coverage Search Console, speed atas talian mobile, internal link, keyword-to-page mapping, jurang pesaing, Google Business Profile dan conversion path. Skor 100 tu formula vendor, bukan markah dari Google. Audit berbayar sekali harga RM800 hingga RM2,500.

Emel tu selalunya sampai hari Selasa.

Kalau tiada sesiapa tanya walau satu soalan sebelum laporan sampai, maknanya tiada sesiapa susun apa-apa.

Skor 100 tu formula tool, bukan markah dari Google

Google tak pernah bagi website kau markah. Dokumentasi page experience dia tulis terus terang: “There is no single signal. Our core ranking systems look at a variety of signals that align with overall page experience.”

Indexation Berapa halaman Google betul-betul simpan Separa
Keyword-to-page mapping Halaman mana patut rank untuk carian mana Tidak

Google sendiri tulis dalam panduan permulaan dia: “There’s no guarantee that any particular site will be added to Google’s index.”

Speed kena diukur atas telefon guna data mobile

                2.5s
                LCP, kandungan utama muncul
                200ms
                INP, respons bila ditekan
                0.1
                CLS, layout beranjak

Can you show me examples of your previous work and share some success stories?” Itu paras lantai. Soalan khusus pasal audit lagi penting.

                3. Penemuan mana yang awak baiki dulu kalau saya tak bayar sesen pun. Analis betul dah ada jawapan. Orang sales cakap semua urgent.
                4. Apa yang awak tak semak, dan kenapa. Batas skop yang jujur tu tanda baik.
                5. Hasil apa yang awak jangka, dan bila. Google tulis “Some changes might take effect in a few hours, others could take several months.”

Satu peraturan keras datang dari Google sendiri: “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google. Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings, allege a ‘special relationship’ with Google, or advertise a ‘priority submit’ to Google.”

                2. Jalankan PageSpeed Insights atas dua halaman paling penting. Baca bahagian data medan di atas, bukan skor makmal di bawah.
Susun ikut title berulang dulu, lepas tu rantaian redirect.
                5. Tengok Google Business Profile kau macam pelanggan tengok. Cari servis campur nama bandar guna telefon. Semak kategori, waktu, gambar dan tarikh review terakhir.

Soalan lazim pasal analisis SEO percuma

Kalau laporan tak susun ikut urutan ni, susun sendiri.

• Free SEO Analysis in Malaysia: What a Real Audit Includes

Short answer: A free SEO analysis is only worth reading if a person looked at your site, not just a crawler. A real one covers eight things: indexation, Search Console coverage, speed on a mobile connection, internal linking, keyword-to-page mapping, competitor gap, Google Business Profile and the conversion path. A score out of 100 is a vendor formula, not a Google grade. Paid one-off audits run RM800 to RM2,500.

The email usually arrives on a Tuesday. Someone ran your domain through a tool, and now you have a PDF saying the site scores 43 out of 100 with 117 critical errors. Red gauge on page one, calendar link on page two.

Some of those reports start real work. Most are a lead magnet with a scary number on the cover, and the two look identical for about thirty seconds.

This article is about telling them apart: what a crawler can and cannot see, the checks a real analysis must contain, what to ask the person presenting it, and how to run a rough version yourself.

What an automated crawler can see, and what it cannot

A crawler is a script that requests your pages and reads what comes back. It handles the mechanical layer well: status codes, redirect chains, duplicated titles, images with no alt text, broken links, and whether your sitemap and robots.txt agree. That work is genuine, and it is the cheapest part of the job, which is why it gets given away.

What the script does not have is any idea what you sell or who takes your customers. It does not know your money page is the Klang branch page, not the homepage. It cannot judge whether a 400-word page is thin or is a good answer to a common question. It cannot see your Search Console data, your enquiry volume, your Google Business Profile, or the competitors sitting above you.

So it produces a list of defects with no sense of which cost you money. Sorting that list is where the value sits, and sorting needs someone who asked you questions first. If nobody asked you a single question before the report landed, nobody sorted anything.

Why a score out of 100 tells you almost nothing

Google does not issue your website a score. Its page experience documentation puts it plainly: “There is no single signal. Our core ranking systems look at a variety of signals that align with overall page experience.”

Every number on an audit cover page is the vendor’s own formula. Run one URL through three tools and you get three scores, because each weighs alt text, heading order and speed differently.

Score formulas count issues, and cosmetic issues are easiest to count. A shop with 900 product images missing alt text scores worse than a 12-page site that still has a noindex tag on its whole services section from a staging build. One of those is housekeeping. The other means Google cannot see the pages you sell from.

                  How to read a score

                  • A score only means something against itself, on the same tool, over time.
                  • Comparing your score to a competitor’s score from another tool proves nothing.
                  • If the report flags a keywords meta tag, treat the whole thing as boilerplate. Google states directly that “Google Search doesn’t use the keywords meta tag.”

The eight checks a real analysis has to cover

Free or paid, the same ground has to be covered. A missing section is not a shorter audit, it is an incomplete one, and the gaps are usually where a tool cannot help.

Check What it answers Tool alone
Indexation How many pages Google actually stores Partly
Search Console coverage Why Google refused the rest No
Mobile speed What a customer on 4G in Ipoh gets Partly
Internal linking Which revenue pages are buried Partly
Keyword-to-page mapping Which page should rank for which search No
Competitor gap What rivals rank for that you lack No
Google Business Profile Whether you appear in the map pack No
Conversion path Whether current traffic does anything No

The first four are technical and mostly fixable in weeks. The last four need judgement and a conversation. An audit stopping after the first four is a crawl report wearing a cover page. If the vocabulary is new, the beginner guide to how SEO works covers the terms before you sit through a presentation about them.

Indexation and Search Console coverage come first

A page that is not in Google’s index cannot rank, however well written it is. Google says as much in its starter guide: “There’s no guarantee that any particular site will be added to Google’s index.”

Indexation is therefore the first thing a competent analyst checks, and the one most free reports skip, because the honest version needs your Search Console. The Page indexing report shows how many URLs are indexed, how many are not, and why.

The reasons repeat across Malaysian SME sites. A noindex tag left after a staging build. Canonical tags pointing at the wrong page because a plugin was set up once and never revisited. Product variants Google treated as duplicates. Pages discovered but never crawled, which usually means the site is slow or badly linked.

The pattern that costs most is a store with 600 product pages where only 90 are indexed. The other 510 return nothing on the photography spend, and no dashboard tells you why.

Want a second opinion on an audit you were just handed?Send us the report and your URL. We will tell you which findings are real, which are filler, and what we would fix first.

Speed has to be measured on a phone on mobile data

Google measures three performance metrics and publishes the thresholds on web.dev. A report quoting one overall speed number instead of these three is quoting a tool.

                  2.5s
                  LCP, main content visible
                  200ms
                  INP, response when tapped
                  0.1
                  CLS, layout shifting

The detail that gets lost is how these are assessed. They apply at the 75th percentile of real visits, so three out of four of your visitors have to hit them. Those visitors are on mid-range Android phones on mobile data, often indoors, on a network that behaves very differently at 8pm than at 11am.

An audit run from a fast desktop connection produces a lab score, and lab scores flatter almost every Malaysian site. Ask whether the numbers came from field data in Search Console or one test run. If it was one test run, that section describes what the site could do, not what it does.

A good audit will say this itself: speed moves rankings less than content and links do, but it moves conversion rate a lot, which is the better reason to fix it.

Linking, mapping and competitors: the parts a crawler cannot finish

Internal linking is the check most owners have never had explained. The question is how many clicks it takes to reach each page that earns revenue. Pages four or five clicks deep get crawled rarely and rank rarely. Orphan pages, meaning pages nothing links to, are usually forgotten campaign landing pages. A crawler maps this in minutes, but cannot say which buried page matters, because it does not know which service carries your margin.

Keyword-to-page mapping separates a real analysis from a generated one more reliably than anything else. It is a simple table: the search term, the page that should rank for it, the page that currently does, and whether those match. Malaysian sites fail this constantly, because ten location pages share one template and Google must choose between near-identical text. A report handing you keywords with no page attached skipped this.

The competitor gap section has an easy test. Does it name the firms actually appearing for your terms, or the biggest companies in your industry nationally. A furniture shop in Klang competes with three other Klang shops, not with IKEA. The difference between on-page and off-page work is worth reading first.

For a business serving customers within driving distance, the Google Business Profile section outweighs half the technical findings combined: category choice, address consistency, service areas, holiday hours, premises photos, review recency. Most free audits skip it because a crawler cannot reach it. Our local SEO guide covers it.

What the deliverable should contain, and what it should not

A useful analysis is a working document. You should be able to hand pieces of it to three different people and have each know what to do.

                  In the document

                  • Findings ordered by expected impact, with the effort each one takes.
                  • Evidence per finding: the URLs, a screenshot, the report it came from.
                  • An owner per task: developer, writer, or whoever manages the business profile.
                  • A plain statement of what was checked and what was not, and why.
                  • What you can do yourself for free, separated from what needs paying for.

What should not be in it: a score with no method behind it, critical issues that turn out to be alt text and heading order, keywords with no page assigned, and a service proposal starting on page two. Any agency giving away work will eventually pitch, which is fair, but it belongs at the end as a separate document. Length is not quality either. Forty pages with 38 of tool export is worse than four pages of ordered decisions.

The questions to ask the person presenting it

Google publishes its own list for anyone hiring an SEO, including “Can you show me examples of your previous work and share some success stories?” That is the floor. The audit-specific questions matter more.

                  1. Which three pages on my site earn the most. If they cannot answer, they never asked, and nothing was prioritised.
                  2. Who are my three organic competitors. The answer should be firms you recognise as rivals, not national brands.
                  3. Which finding would you fix first if I paid you nothing. A real analyst has an answer ready. A salesperson says everything is urgent.
                  4. What did you not check, and why. Honest scope limits are a good sign.
                  5. What result do you expect, and when. Google says “Some changes might take effect in a few hours, others could take several months.”

One hard rule comes from Google itself: “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google. Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings, allege a ‘special relationship’ with Google, or advertise a ‘priority submit’ to Google.” If that language appears in the report or the call, stop there. The same signs apply to choosing any digital marketing agency in Malaysia.

A do-it-yourself version you can run this afternoon

You will not match a professional analysis, but you will get far enough to judge the one you were given. All of this is free.

                  1. Open Search Console, Page indexing report. Compare the indexed count to the not-indexed count and read the top three reasons.
                  2. Run PageSpeed Insights on your two most important pages. Read the field data at the top, not the lab score below it.
                  3. Search your five main terms in an incognito window. Write down who ranks and which of your pages appears. That is rough keyword-to-page mapping.
                  4. Crawl the site with a free desktop crawler. The free tier covers 500 URLs, more than most SME sites have. Sort by duplicate titles, then redirect chains.
                  5. Check your Google Business Profile as a customer would. Search your service plus your town on a phone. Look at the category, hours, photos and your latest review date.
                  6. Write down the five worst things you found. Compare that to the report you were given. If it missed three of your five, you have your answer.

Do this once and the sales pitch loses its power, because you already know where the site stands before anyone tells you.

Frequently asked questions about free SEO analysis

Is a free SEO analysis worth anything at all?

Yes, when a person reviewed the site and asked about the business first. The technical crawl underneath is usually accurate. What varies is whether anyone sorted the findings by what costs you money, and whether the sections a tool cannot produce exist at all.

What is the difference between an SEO audit and an SEO analysis?

Nothing consistent. Agencies use both words for the same deliverable, and neither guarantees depth. Judge the document, not the label. One covering indexation, mapping, competitors and your business profile is thorough whatever the cover calls it.

Can I trust a score out of 100 from an audit tool?

Only as a trend line on the same tool over time. Google does not issue site scores, and each tool weighs issues by its own formula, so three tools give three numbers for one URL. Scores also count cosmetic issues heavily, which hides real problems.

Do I have to give an agency access to my Search Console?

Not for a first analysis, but the indexation section is guesswork without it. View-only access is enough and allows no changes to your site. Never hand over admin logins or hosting credentials for an audit.

How long should a proper free analysis take to come back?

Two to three working days is normal for an ordinary site. Anything returned in under a minute is a tool export with a logo on it. Three weeks means it is being squeezed between paid jobs.

What should I fix first after reading the findings?

Indexation problems, then duplicated or missing titles on pages that matter. Both are cheap and show results fastest. Content and links come after, because they need continuing budget. If the report does not order the work this way, order it yourself.

How much does a paid SEO audit cost in Malaysia?

A one-off paid audit generally runs RM800 to RM2,500, depending on site size and whether competitor research is included. Retainers are separate, starting around RM1,000 to RM2,500 a month for basic local work. Paying does not buy depth, so the same questions apply.

Can I run a useful analysis myself with free tools?

You can get most of the way there in an afternoon using Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, incognito searches for your main terms and a free desktop crawler. What you will miss is judgement about sequencing, the part worth paying for.

Conclusion: judge the analysis, not the score

A free SEO analysis is a sample of someone’s thinking, and that is how to read it. If it names your competitors, points at your indexation report, says which page should rank for which search, and orders the findings, the person behind it does real work. If it opens with a red gauge and closes with a calendar link, you were sent a brochure. Pricing for the paid version sits in our guide to SEO pricing in Malaysia. • Kenapa Website Tak Keluar Dalam Google? Cara Diagnose Sendiri

Jawapan ringkas: Sembilan daripada sepuluh kes, puncanya salah satu daripada tiga. Google belum crawl site kau lagi, ada benda dalam site yang suruh Google jangan masuk, atau page kau memang dah index tapi ranking terlalu bawah sampai tak nampak. Check status index dulu guna carian site:, lepas tu Search Console. Site baru boleh ambil sampai 4 minggu sebelum kau patut risau.

Mesej WhatsApp yang kami paling kerap terima bunyi macam ni: “Bro, website dah siap dua minggu, tapi search nama kedai pun tak keluar.

Buka Google, taip site:domainkau.com tanpa space selepas titik bertindih.

Satu perkara kau kena tahu.

Lepas tu buka Google Search Console, satu-satunya tempat Google beritahu terus apa dia fikir pasal satu page. Headline yang keluar salah satu daripada URL is on Google, URL is on Google, but has issues, atau URL is not on Google.

Butang Test Live URL ambil page seperti keadaan sekarang.

Google memang suka ubah susun atur interface ni.

Dekat bawah ada checkbox bertulis Discourage search engines from indexing this site. Developer tanda kotak tu masa tengah bina supaya orang tak jumpa site separuh siap.

                    1. Check dashboard. Settings, Reading, tengok baris search engine visibility. Kotak bertanda, itulah jawapannya.
                    2. Sahkan dari luar. Buka domainkau.com/robots.txt. Baris Disallow: / bawah User-agent: * mengesahkannya.
                    3. Check source page. Klik kanan homepage, View Page Source, cari perkataan noindex.
                    4. Buang tanda dan save. Satu klik, lepas tu reload dua-dua untuk sahkan.
                    5. Check plugin SEO berasingan.

Fix ambil masa seminit.

Google terangkan perangkap ni dengan jelas dalam dokumentasi sendiri: untuk noindex berfungsi, page tu mesti tidak diblok oleh robots.txt, kalau tidak “the crawler will never see the noindex rule, and the page can still appear in search results.”

Site baru selalunya cuma tengah tunggu, bukan rosak

Dalam dokumentasi pasal minta Google crawl semula, Google tulis “crawling can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks” selepas kau request indexing atau hantar sitemap. Dia tambah bahawa request crawl “does not guarantee that inclusion in search results will happen instantly or even at all.”

                    Sampai 4 minggu
masa tunggu sebelum kira ia fault

Satu benda jangan buat: tekan butang Request Indexing berulang kali.

site: kosong Langsung tak diindex Blocking rule, akses crawl, sitemap Beberapa hari hingga 4 minggu

Google crawl satu page, putus bahawa ia tak tambah apa-apa, lepas tu tinggalkan. Dalam report Page indexing ia keluar sebagai Crawled – currently not indexed, page yang Google kata “may or may not be indexed in the future” dan tak perlu dihantar semula.

Polisi spam Google sekarang sebut expired domain abuse secara langsung, ditakrifkan sebagai domain expired yang “purchased and repurposed primarily to manipulate search rankings by hosting content that provides little to no value to users.”

Search site:domainkau.com tanpa space selepas titik bertindih. Kalau page keluar, site kau dah diindex. Kalau kosong, belum.

Hantar page penting sekali, lepas tu biar sitemap bekerja.

Apa maksud Crawled – currently not indexed?

Search Console tak buat indexing berlaku, ia buat sebabnya nampak bila indexing gagal.

Nama business jumpa site saya tapi keyword servis tidak. Kenapa?

Kau dah diindex, jadi ini masalah ranking, bukan masalah index. Nama brand kau hampir tiada saingan, keyword servis pula penuh saingan. Fixnya content lebih baik dan link. Jangka tiga hingga enam bulan.

Beli domain lama menjejaskan peluang site saya keluar?

English version here: Why Is My Website Not Showing Up on Google.

                    • Why Is My Website Not Showing Up on Google? A Diagnostic Guide

Short answer: Nine times out of ten it is one of three things. Google has not crawled your site yet, something on the site is telling Google to stay away, or the page is indexed but ranks too far down to see. Check indexing first with a site: search, then Search Console. A new site can reasonably take up to 4 weeks before you should worry.

A client rang us in January, three days after his shop site went live. He searched his own business name, found nothing, and assumed the developer cheated him. The site was fine. Google had not got to it.

Two weeks later another owner asked the same thing about a site up for eight months. That one had a real fault: a WordPress checkbox telling every search engine to go away, still ticked from the day building started.

Both look identical from outside and need different responses. Here are the checks in the order you should run them.

Check whether Google has your site at all

Open Google and type site:yourdomain.com with no space after the colon. That shows only pages Google holds from that domain. A list means Google has you, so your problem is position, not indexing. Nothing at all means you carry on down this list. Try an inner page too, such as site:yourdomain.com/services/. A homepage-only result has a different cause than a site missing entirely.

Google has said the operator does not return every indexed page and the count is an estimate, so trust a blank result more than a partial one.

Then open Search Console, the only place Google states directly what it thinks of a page. Verify the property, usually with a DNS record, then paste a full URL into the top search bar. The headline is URL is on Google, URL is on Google, but has issues, or URL is not on Google. Expand the page indexing details for the crawl date, the canonical Google chose, and what blocked it.

The default view shows the last indexed version, which may be stale. Test Live URL fetches the page as it stands now.

Google moves this interface around. Page indexing was called Coverage for years, and the robots.txt Tester became a robots.txt report. If a label does not match your screen, find its nearest equivalent.

The WordPress checkbox that hides an entire site

This is the most common cause on Malaysian SME sites that launched recently. Check it before anything technical.

In WordPress, go to Settings, then Reading. Near the bottom sits a checkbox labelled Discourage search engines from indexing this site. Developers tick it while building so nobody finds a half-finished site. Then it goes live, the invoice is paid, and nobody unticks it. With that box on, WordPress adds a noindex to every page and serves a robots.txt disallowing everything. Google obeys both, so the site works for humans and is invisible to search.

                      1. Check the dashboard. Settings, Reading, search engine visibility line. A ticked box is your answer.
                      2. Confirm from outside. Load yourdomain.com/robots.txt. A Disallow: / line under User-agent: * confirms it.
                      3. Check the source. Right click the homepage, View Page Source, search noindex.
                      4. Untick and save. One click, then reload both to confirm.
                      5. Check the SEO plugin too. Yoast and Rank Math hold their own switches and can keep a noindex after the WordPress box is clear.

The fix takes a minute. Recovery does not. Google must recrawl before it knows anything changed, so expect days for the homepage and weeks for deeper pages. Request indexing on key URLs.

robots.txt and stray noindex tags block pages in two different ways

These get treated as one thing and they are not. robots.txt asks crawlers not to fetch a page. A noindex tag asks Google not to keep one it already fetched. Google states the trap plainly: for a noindex rule to work, the page must not be blocked by robots.txt, or “the crawler will never see the noindex rule, and the page can still appear in search results.”

Open yourdomain.com/robots.txt and read it. You want Disallow: /, or a Disallow line naming the folder your pages live in.

Then check pages for a stray tag. Search the source for noindex. A tag reading <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> on a page you want ranked is the fault. It gets left on staging copies, template duplicates, or a post type switched off inside a plugin.

Timing is uneven. Google says a page may take months for Googlebot to revisit if it is not important on the wider web, so assume weeks and request a recrawl rather than wait.

Not sure which of these applies to your site?We will run the checks and tell you what is actually blocking it, at no cost.

                      Book free consultation

A new site is often just waiting, not broken

Google publishes the number and it is vaguer than people want. In its documentation on asking Google to recrawl, Google says “crawling can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks” after you request indexing or submit a sitemap, and adds that requesting a crawl “does not guarantee that inclusion in search results will happen instantly or even at all.”

For a small Malaysian business site with a clean setup, the homepage usually turns up within days and inner pages trail by one to three weeks. Set your alarm at 4 weeks. Before that, run the checks but do not panic. After that, something is wrong.

                      2 minutes
to run the first two checks yourself
                      1 checkbox
most common cause on new SME sites
                      Up to 4 weeks
fair wait before treating it as a fault

One thing not to do: hammer the Request Indexing button. Google states that requesting a recrawl repeatedly for the same URL will not get it crawled any faster, and there is a quota on submitting individual URLs. Submit once, then leave it.

Indexed but ranking too low is a completely different problem

This is the split most owners miss, and getting it wrong means paying to fix the wrong thing. Copy the exact page title, wrap it in quotation marks, search that, then search your business name on its own. If your site comes back for either, you are indexed and nothing above applies to you.

The problem is competition. Your page sits in Google’s index, just below the results people look at. That is a content and authority problem, solved by matching what searchers want and earning links. Our beginner guide to SEO covers how those pieces fit, and the split between on-page and off-page work explains which lever moves which.

What you see What it means Where the fix lives Time to show
site: returns nothing Not indexed at all Blocking rules, crawl access, sitemap Days to 4 weeks
Brand name finds you, service terms do not Indexed, ranking too low Content, intent match, links 3 to 6 months
Homepage indexed, inner pages missing Discovery problem Internal links, sitemap submission 2 to 8 weeks
Pages appear then vanish Quality or duplication Rewrite thin pages, fix canonicals 1 to 3 months

Thin pages and leftover template text keep pages out

Google crawls a page, decides it adds nothing, and leaves it out. In the Page indexing report this shows as Crawled – currently not indexed, a page Google says “may or may not be indexed in the future” with no need to resubmit.

The version we see most often in Malaysia is the template site. An owner buys a theme, the developer swaps the logo and phone number, and half the pages still carry the demo copy that shipped with it. Placeholder headings, a services page describing a business in another country. Google has crawled those words on thousands of sites.

Duplication inside your site does the same. If four location pages differ only by town name, Google keeps one and files the rest as Duplicate without user-selected canonical. That is not a punishment. Google has said since 2008 there is no duplicate content penalty, it just picks one version.

The fix is unglamorous. Open every page, delete anything you did not write about your own business, and give each one a reason to exist. A quality checklist helps. Expect one to three months before rewritten pages settle.

Orphan pages and a sitemap nobody submitted

Google finds pages by following links. A page nothing links to is an orphan, and unless it sits in a sitemap Google may never learn it exists. These show as Discovered – currently not indexed, meaning Google knows the URL but has not crawled it.

                      1. Find your sitemap. With Yoast or Rank Math it usually sits at yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml. Load it and confirm your real pages are listed.
                      2. Submit it. In Search Console, open Sitemaps, paste the path, submit. Check the next day for a Success status and a URL count.
                      3. Link from the menu. Anything important should be two clicks from the homepage at most.
                      4. Link from body copy. Mention services inside blog posts and link them there, with wording describing the destination.
                      5. Compare the counts. Pages submitted against pages indexed. A wide gap points back at the quality problem above, not a discovery one.

Local businesses lose ground here for a reason unrelated to the website. If you sell to one town, your Google Business Profile does work your site cannot, covered in our local SEO guide.

A bought domain can carry history you did not check

If you bought an expiring or aged domain because somebody said it would rank faster, check what it used to be. Open the Manual Actions report in Search Console. If a human reviewer at Google acted against the domain, it is listed with a reason, and an empty report rules this out.

Then look the domain up on the Wayback Machine and read what sat there before. Gambling, pharmacy spam, or a site in a language you do not speak are warnings. Google’s spam policies now name expired domain abuse, defined as an expired domain “purchased and repurposed primarily to manipulate search rankings by hosting content that provides little to no value to users.”

Buying a domain with a past is not automatically a problem, and a real business on a recycled domain is not the target of that policy. But if the previous owner collected a manual action, you inherit it until you clean up and file a reconsideration request.

Budget months, not weeks. If the history is bad enough and the domain carries no brand value, moving to a clean one is often cheaper than the recovery.

The order to check, and how long each fix takes to show

Work top to bottom and stop at the first thing that is true. Most sites fail on one of the first three. The ones that do not are usually facing the slow problem at the bottom of this list rather than a fault at all, which is a different conversation about budget and patience.

Untick WordPress noindexDays to 3 weeks
                      Fix robots.txt block1 to 4 weeks
Submit sitemap, add links2 to 8 weeks
Rewrite thin pages1 to 3 months
Climb from indexed to visible3 to 6 months

                      The short version

                      • Run site:yourdomain.com first. It answers indexed or not in seconds.
                      • Search Console URL Inspection tells you the reason. Nothing else does.
                      • The WordPress Discourage checkbox is the first suspect on any site under a year old.
                      • Not indexed and not ranking are separate problems with separate fixes.
                      • Every fix needs a recrawl before it shows, so nothing is instant.

If you have worked through all this and still cannot tell which applies, that is a fair point to bring in help. Our SEO work starts with this diagnosis before anyone proposes a plan.

Frequently asked questions about a website not showing on Google

How do I check if my website is on Google?

Search for site:yourdomain.com with no space after the colon. Pages returned means the site is indexed. Nothing returned means it is not. Google has said the operator does not list every indexed page and the count shown is an estimate.

Why is my website not showing on Google even though it is live?

Live and indexed are separate things. A live site can still carry a noindex tag, a robots.txt rule blocking everything, or the WordPress discourage setting. It can also be too new to have been crawled. Check indexing status first.

How long does Google take to index a new website?

Google says crawling can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks after you request indexing or submit a sitemap, and does not guarantee inclusion at all. Give it up to 4 weeks before calling it broken.

Does clicking Request Indexing in Search Console make it faster?

It helps once. Google states that requesting a recrawl multiple times for the same URL will not get it crawled any faster, and there is a quota on submitting individual URLs. Submit key pages once, then let the sitemap work.

What does Crawled – currently not indexed mean?

Google fetched the page and chose not to keep it. Google’s wording is that it may or may not be indexed in future, with no need to resubmit. In practice this means thin content, duplication, or leftover template text.

Can I get indexed without using Search Console?

Yes. Google finds most sites by following links, so a site linked from an existing page is usually discovered on its own. Search Console does not make indexing happen, it makes the reason visible when indexing fails.

My business name finds the site but my services do not. Why?

You are indexed, so this is a ranking problem rather than an indexing one. Your brand name has almost no competition, while service terms have plenty. The fix is better content and links. Expect three to six months.

Does buying an old domain hurt my chances of showing up?

It can. Check the Manual Actions report and look the domain up on the Wayback Machine. Google’s spam policies name expired domain abuse, where a domain is bought and repurposed mainly to manipulate rankings. Inherited actions need cleaning up.

Conclusion: check in order, and separate blocked from buried

Almost every missing website is one of three states. Google has not arrived, Google has been told to stay out, or Google has the page and nobody scrolls far enough to see it. The site: search plus one Search Console inspection separates them in minutes.

Fix the blocking causes first, because they are cheap and fast. Only then spend on content and links, the slow work that moves a page from indexed to visible. Versi Bahasa Melayu di sini: Kenapa Website Tak Keluar Dalam Google.
