A content engine, not random posts
Consistent, on-brand content across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, planned and measured, not posted on a whim.
Cost
What does social media marketing cost in Malaysia?
Social as a managed channel starts at RM3,000 a month with us. Bundled with SEO and paid ads it sits inside the RM8,000 multi-channel tier. Everything is listed on the pricing page.
Freelancers in Malaysia will do posting for RM800 to RM2,000 a month. That buys you content going out on schedule. It does not usually buy strategy, and it almost never buys someone who will tell you the content is not working.
If your only problem is that nothing gets posted, a freelancer solves it cheaper than we do, and we will say so. Come to us when posting consistently has not produced anything and you need to know why.
Platforms
Which platform for which business
Facebook still carries the widest age range in Malaysia and remains the most reliable for local service businesses, community groups and anything where the buyer is over 35. It is unfashionable and it still works.
Instagram is where anything visual has to be. Food, property, fashion, interiors, events. If your product photographs well, this is the default.
TikTok reaches people who were not looking for you. Reach is cheap, attention is short, and it rewards volume over polish. It is the best place to be discovered and one of the worst to be understood.
Being on three platforms badly is worse than being on one properly. We would rather run one channel well and add the second when the first is producing.
The work
What a month actually looks like
A calendar built at the start of the month, not decided each morning. Design and copy produced against it. Scheduling and posting. Replies handled within the day, because a question left unanswered for a week is a lost customer whatever the engagement rate says.
Then one report. Not follower count. What people saved, shared and messaged you about, which posts led to an enquiry, and which format is worth repeating.
Follower count is the easiest number to grow and the least connected to revenue. We report it because clients ask, not because it means much.
Honest limits
What social media will not do
It will not fix a product people do not want. It will not generate demand for an expensive purchase in a single month. And it will not replace search: someone who already knows they need a lawyer goes to Google, not to your Instagram.
What it does well is trust. When someone hears your name, checks you out and finds a page that has been quiet for eight months, you have lost something you did not know you were being judged on. When they find current work, real replies and evidence you exist, the sale gets easier everywhere else.
That is the honest case for social for most Malaysian SMEs. It is a trust channel that makes your other channels convert better, and it is usually mis-sold as a lead channel.
